Okay, so here is my honest review… If you are a fan of Joe Snyder, Daniel Alexander, Cut4Men, CoverMale, fill in the blank, then you know that their garments are okay. They are priced higher and they don’t hold up well. You get a wear or two and then the seams start to give. If you are an average guy, the XL are built for model types that really equate to a medium for the average every day man. Not good. That’s not the case with these. While this is listed as swimwear, I wear them as underwear. They hold up under jeans, shorts, you name it. The construction is far superior to any other brand I’ve tried. The fabric feels luxe and doesn’t chafe. Here’s the plus, while I haven’t worn them in the pool yet, I can honestly say, they stay put. There is just the right blend of lycra/ spandex for the fit to be snug but not too snug and not ride down with wear. Plus, the range of colors and prints across the line will keep you interested with something different for each day. As an aside, I’m not a model. I don’t have a gym body or 10% body fat. I’m 5’9″ at 200lbs. That doesn’t mean that I don’t want to feel sexy. I grabbed an XL that fits just right. It’s slightly lower in the waistline but not too low that I worry about fit in the back or the waistband rolling. If you want a little more security, the style #85 has a slightly wider, elastic waistband but not too large to be uncomfortable, cut into your waist, or otherwise be cumbersome. If you have a more active lifestyle, say going to clubs and shaking your groove thing, these may be the ticket for you. I’ve worn both, and both are equally comfortable, flexible and just really nice. I’m in the states. Whether you pay for shipping or qualify for free shipping, the folks package up your order quickly and expedite the shipping. In most cases, it takes roughly 5 – 7 business days for a package to travel from their Canadian location to New Jersey, USA. So, depending where you are it may take a little longer. You can opt for the non – U.S Postal Service option and pay more for shipping if you choose. And let’s be fair, the USPS is a dinosaur, so even it takes longer for you get your order, it’s really not the fault of the store.
